When Cody was 10 years old, she exhibited signs of ageing such as skin issues (inflamed skin and balding), impaired vision and mild arthritis. She developed behavioural problems like aggression and separation anxiety. After 3 weeks on astaxanthin, we saw great improvement in her behaviour. She became more active; jumping onto beds and claiming them as her own.

Cody also started to exhibit greater awareness of her surroundings and was no longer anxious when we leave the room. Her skin condition improved although there are still occasional mild flare-ups. Overall, we felt that astaxanthin had helped Cody cope better with ageing and made her a happier and alert dog even though she could not see.

Krissie was never sick till later part of her year. She was about 16-human-year-old when she started having health issues. That also led to other problems and weakened joints. At that point, I was introduced to astaxanthin. We were so surprised that by the 3rd week the first difference we found was she was no longer scaling and her skin and coat was smooth. Even her joint problems seem to be better and her energy levels were up again. I was really glad that Krissie was able to have astaxanthin helped her through her last months.
